- Abstract
- 본 연구에서는 어머니의 이타성과 영유아기 자녀의 공감 능력 발달의 관련성을 확인하고자 하였다. 어머니의 도덕성은 최근에 개발된 이타적 강화학습과제와 함께 이타적 행동의 빈도, 사회가치 지향성, 마키아벨리즘 성향을 측정하는 자기보고 척도들을 사용하여 측정하였다. 자녀의 도덕성은 생애 초기부터 출현하는 도덕적 정서인 공감을 어머니의 설문으로 측정하였다. 분석 결과 강화학습과제에서 이타적으로 행동했던 어머니의 자녀들이 높은 공감 수준을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 자기보고 척도 측정치 중에서는 마키아벨리즘의 하위척도인 무도덕적 조작과 지위 욕구만이 자녀의 공감과 유의미한 부적 상관을 보였다. 본 연구 결과는 자녀의 도덕적 정서 발달과 관련되어 있는 양육자의 도덕성을 타당하게 측정할 수 있는 방식이 무엇인지에 대한 새로운 관점을 제공한다.
