- Abstract
- Diagnosis of glucose (C6H12O6) was directly performed in non-treated urine. The cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square-wave stripping votammetric (SW) parameters were sought using platinum, mercury, and sodium immobilized on a graphite pencil probe. The platinum-coated graphite (PCG) probe is more sensitive than its modifications. The optimum analytical conditions were sought via SW and CV in 1-ml raw urine. Here analytical detection limit (S/N = 3) was attained to 0.6 mg L-1 glucose. Under 10.0 mg L-1 glucose constant, the standard deviation of 0.0016 (n = 15) was obtained. These results can be applied to the urine of diabetes patients and of healthy people.
