- Abstract
- KT-64 and MD-64 are hardware-optimized 64-bit block ciphers which are based on data-dependent operations. They provide high performance in FPGA implementation, which are suitable for low-resource devices such as RFID tags and wireless sensor network. In this paper, we propose cryptanalytic results on KT-64 and MD-64. Based on a related-key amplified boomerang attack, our attacks can recover the secret key of KT-64 and MD-64, respectively. These works are the first cryptanalytic results on KT-64 and MD-64.
