- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is finding a proper way to generate Baby Boomer’s leisure participation for their successful ageing.
This study was conducted a survey of Baby Boomers in Seoul metropolitan region. A total of 496 questionnaires were used for this study with various statistical methods, such as frequency analysis, normality of samples, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, model suitability analysis and path analysis. Results of the study are as follows.
First, daily stability of successful ageing awareness affects positively to cognition factor of leisure attitude. Second, daily stability of successful ageing awareness does not affect to emotional factor of leisure attitude. Third, daily stability of successful ageing awareness affects negatively to behavioral factor of leisure attitude. Fourth, social stability of successful ageing awareness affects to all factors of leisure attitude. Fifth, self efficacy of successful ageing awareness affects to behavioral factor of leisure attitude. Sixth, all factors of leisure attitude affect to leisure participation intention. Seventh, no factors of successful ageing awareness affect to leisure participation intention.
