dc.description.abstractIn this paper, a generalized terminal sliding surface is proposed for second-order systems. It is shown that the proposed scheme guarantees that the system state gets to zero in a finite time, and the proposed generalized terminal sliding surface is a superset of the conventional terminal sliding surfaces. The experimental results are given to show the validity of the main result.-
