Abstract
The objective of this study is to study the international division of labor through the analysis of international trade structure and international competitiveness of 6 industries in three countries; Korea, China and Japan. The major findings of the research are in the following;First, Korea should conduct continuously the industrial restructuring and technology development policies considering the international trade structure and international competitiveness of 6 industries in three countries. Second, the three countries should start the negotiations about Korea-China Free Trade Agreement, Korea-Japan Free Trade Agreement, and Korea-China-Japan Free Trade Agreement for economic interests in three countries. Third, China should be delt with as the world market as well as the world factory. The international trade policies related to China should consider the two aspects. China currently is the first largest export market of Korea. On the other hand, US has changed the second largest export market of Korea.
