- Abstract
- This study aims at securing multiple factors required for new generation refrigerant, identifying the weight of each factor, and eventually clarifying relative importance of those factors.
To do this, Del-Phi and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) methods are adopted to select and weigh factors. By doing this, an equation is constituted, by which, a trial evalution against refrigerant candidates for mobile air conditioning is conducted with collective approach.
The result shows that economic factors not considered in general in previous studies are selected as requirements for new generation refrigerant. The result also shows that economic factors and fuctional factors are as important as eco-friendly/non-hazard factors. It is meaningful to catch that each result from authorities and market players show different implications. This raises the need for collective and comprehensive evaluation of new generation refrigerant candidates with the consideration of different intersts and views of various stakeholders in the supply chain of refrigerant. The trial evaluation against refrigerant candidates for mobile air conditioning shows the result that HFO-1234yf is superior to CO2 accordingly
