- Abstract
- The level of Ethiopian agricultural output has been fluctuating, and causing food shortage problems during the last few decades. Ethiopia has a vast arable land, and could overcome the food shortage problems. However, there are many obstacles that inhibit agricultural output. The land tenure system in Ethiopia is one of the key factors inducing the low level of agricultural output. This research investigates the current problems of food shortages in Ethiopia, and look at how the Ethiopian government has been working for the agricultural sector. Some suggestions were made to overcome the food shortage problems in Ethiopia.
