The magnetization reversal process of ferromagnetic Fe film with biaxial easy axes has been investigated using magnetotransport measurements. In addition to the change in the planar Hall resistance (PHR) between the positive and negative values depending on the direction of magnetization, we have noticed that the amplitude of the PHR strongly depends on the applied field direction. Specifically, when the external field direction is near the easy axis, the amplitude of the PHR is significantly reduced in the field scan data. This phenomenon was understood by the presence of multidomains with three different directions of magnetizations. (C) 2010 American Institute of Physics. [doi:10.1063/1.3368115]-
