- Abstract
- 본 논문의 목적은 육군 징집병의 군사특기일치율이 저조한 원인을 체계적으로 분석하고 이를 개선하기 위한 대안으로서의 병역자원 분류체계의 일원화, 즉 군사특기분류체계로의 통합의 효과를 실증적으로 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 육군 징집병을 대상으로 실시한 실증 분석 결과 병역자원 분류체계를 군사특기 분류체계로 일원화할 경우 군사특기일치율이 현재의 이원화된 분류체계를 적용할 때 보다 최소 25% 이상 향상된다는 것이 밝혀졌다. 따라서 병무청의 적성분류체계와 육군의 군사특기분류체계를 군사특기분류체계로 일원화하거나 또는 세분화된 직군 분류체계로 통합할 경우 군 병역자원 획득의 효과성이 크게 향상되어 예산 절감과 전투력의 향상, 군복무자의 만족도 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
