- Abstract
- 신용위험 관리를 위해서는 고객의 신용 평점화 작업이 요구되는데 이를 위한 대표적인 통계 방법론이 선형 로지스틱 회귀방법이라고 할 수 있다. 구축된 신용 평점 모형을 기반으로 신용위험 관리를 하기 위하여 사용되는 방법론 중의 하나가 평점표이다. 평점표 구축을 위해서는 설명력이 높은 입력변수를 선택하여야 하고, 이산형 입력변수의 경우 범주의 수가 많은 경우에서는 유사한 범주들을 재 그룹화하며 연속형 변수의 경우 이산화하는 성김화 과정이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 신용평점에서 사용되는 변수 성김화 방법으로 알려진 상수 스플라인 방법과 SAS E-Miner의 대화식 그룹화 방법에서의 성김화 방법을 비교하고자 한다. 변수 선택, 이산화 성능 및 판별 성능 비교를 위하여 모의실험 자료 및 독일 신용평가 자료를 이용하였다.
