- Abstract
- NOTES는 인체의 자연 개구부인 입, 항문, 질, 요도 등으로 내시경을 삽입한 뒤 의도적으로 식도나 위, 방광 등에 개방창을 내어 복강이나 흉강에 진입함으로써 외과적 수술을 수행하는 신기술이다. NOTES는 전통적인 개복 또는 복강경적 수술을 감당할 수 없는 다양한 건강상태에 부응하여 미래 의료에서 중요한 역할을 담당할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 전세계의 많은 의사 및 의학자들은 가까운 미래에 이 새로운 의료기술이 수반할 많은 장점을 예견하고 기초 및 임상 측면에서 연구에 힘을 기울이고 있다. 저자들은 이 종설에서 최근 진행된 여러가지 실험 및 임상 연구를 바탕으로 NOTES의 최근 동향을 조명하고, 국내에서의 현실적인 발전 방향을 살펴보고자 하였다.
