Abstract
PRC 10th Anniversary Architectural Project(Guqinggongcheng), which was the symbolic appearance of the capitalist socialist capital, ran very hastily in the background of the Great Leap Forward Movement and exposed various problems. The building of the capital city of Beijing is a business centered on the leadership of the party-state, which has a lot of resources and energy concentrated, and has been rapidly promoted in the background of the Great Leap Forward Movement. These achievements were in contrast to the housing supply that did not satisfy demand and the increasingly deteriorating residential environment. Some of the people who had been demolished by Guqinggongcheng were still unable to obtain stable housing even after a few years. In the 1950s, urban planning existed in Beijing, but Guoqinggongcheng and housing supply were not systematically implemented based on urban planning.
