- Abstract
- Recently, the curriculum has been revised at many country. That’s aimis students will be prepared for success in their post-school lives, including college and/or careers. As that point is emphasized superficially, local researchers insist informational text needs to increase in education ofKorean language art. And CCSS is crucial ground in that insistence. Infact, CCSS reflects the unique, time-honored place of ELA teachers indeveloping student’s literacy skills while at the same time recognizing thatteachers in other areas must have a role in this development as well.
CCSS doesn’t say increasing of informational text in ELA.
Literary text has high level inner paradigm of text. And we can deeplyunderstand a informational text by understanding of knowledge of othersubject. Language art should achieve both ‘communication’ and ‘thinking’.
Viewing that matter from various angles, we can see what text Koreanlanguge art should concentrate on.
