- Ba construction is one of the most popular construction in Chinese. Based on Construction Grammar and Cognitive Grammar, this article is focused on the extension process of Ba construction. As a construction is meaningful, Ba construction also is meaningful and has its own construction meaning. This kind of semantic change reflects on the history of Ba construction.
