- Abstract
- This study focused on investigating the purchasing pattern changes for skiing equipments
including plates, boots, and clothes before and after attending an university skiing camp. One
hundred forty four research participants who were attending to university skiing camp in 2008
were investigated using pre and post survey interviews. For the purpose of this study, exploratory
factor, frequency, correlation, paired sample t-test analyses were performed. The research results
of this study indicate that participants tended to more concerned the function and performance of
skiing plates, boots, and clothes after experiencing 4day skiing camp than before. The participants
also indicated that they have had more positive images on skiing, but less positive images on
snowboarding after the camp.
