- Abstract
- The China’s Net-Movie Industry has entered a new era since the end of 2019. It has entered the era of ‘Wangluo Dianying’ from the era of ‘Wangluo Dadianying’ with the active intervention of the Chinese government authorities and the cooperation of the online video platforms and Filmmakers as the major players in the Chinese Net-Movie Industry. The goal of Net-Movie’s in the era of ‘Wangluo Dianying’ is to be closer to ‘Original Movie’. Two characteristics of the Chinese Net-Movies were discovered related with it In 2020. First, Well-made works have made great progress in numerical and qualitative terms compared to the previous year. Thus, It is not an exaggeration to say well-made Net-Movies were close to ‘Original Movie’ in terms of completeness and quality of the movie in 2020. Second, the ‘main melody film’ appeared in the 2020 Net-Movie. Previously, it existed only in ‘Original Movie’, and not in Net-Movie. With the advent of it, Net-Movie finally had the same structure as ‘Original Movie’.
Chinese government authorities expect Net-Movie to play an important role in the development of the Chinese film industry, along with ‘Original Movie’. Given the progress and pace of China’s Net Movie over the past few years, it is highly likely that these expectation will come true smoothly.
