dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this paper is to examine the core competencies required to form a whole person by classifying them into individual factors and social factors, this is to derive the universality of confucianism's competency. The essence of the competency concept examined in this paper is summarized as follows. First, confucianism's competency is the concept of the whole. Individual competency is a concept of the whole that combines power to know the virtue, power to do self-cultivation, and power to practice the virtue. Like individual competencies, social competencies are the concept of the whole. Social competence is a combination of the real ability to communicate based on personality, the real ability to inherit the culture, and the real ability to contribute to the community. Second, confucianism's competency is a complex concept. Competency as a condition of becoming a whole person is a complex concept in which individual and social dimensions are combined into one. | - |
