- Abstract
- 본 논문에서 우리는 불평등의 다양한 측면들을 고려하면서, 경제학적 관점에서 수행된 불평등에 대한 기존의 연구들을 요약하고 이에 대해 비판적 논평을 가하고자 한다. 그리고 이를 통해 남겨진 쟁점과 연구과제들을 제시하고자 한다. 불평등에 대한 미시적 연구들은 (1)불평등의 수준 및 추이에 대한 연구들, (2) 다양한 소득형태가 전체소득의 불평등에 기여하는 정도에 대한 연구들, 그리고 (3) 불평등을 초래하는 요인들에 대한 연구들로 구분할 수 있는데 본 논문에서는 (2)와 (3)에 주로 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 불평등에 대한 미시적 연구들과 함께 최근 피케티의 연구에 의해 촉발된 거시적 접근법을 사용한 연구들 특히 기능적 소득분배론에 입각한 연구들도 요약한다. 필자의 기존의 연구들을 중심으로 요약한다.
