- 유클리드 평면, 즉 평행공리까지 성립하는 힐베르트 평면,에는 피타고라스의 정리가 서로 동치인 여러 형태의 명제로 존재한다. 이 논문에서는 변-각-변 공리를 제외한 모든 힐베르트 평면공리와 평행공리가 성립하는 여러 비-힐베르트 평면에서 이 명제들의 진위와 그것들 간의 상호관계를 분석한다.
