This exploratory study focuses on the role of IT and captures business strategy in a complex ecosystem environment. The study presents and discusses findings from a qualitative case study on Hyundai Motor's ecosystem from IT aspects, in which each company can sustain or enhance its niche capability in an ecosystem using IT.
