- Abstract
- 이 연구는 공간성(spatiality)에 치중된 국제정치학에서 상대적으로 주목을 받지 못한 국제관계의 시간성(temporality)에 관한 연구이다. 시간성과 관련해 철학적, 역사적으로 축적된 연구와 최근 국제정치학계의 동향을 바탕으로 시간성을 국제관계에 어떻게 활용할 것인지에 대해 먼저 논의한다. 이 논의를 심화시킬 목적으로 오랜 시간 동안 한국의 국가정체성의 일부로 구조화되어서 무의식적으로 일본에 대한 반감과 대결의식을 유발하는 반일감정에 대해 분석한다. 위안부 문제를 포함한 한국의 반일감정을 시간적, 철학적, 정량적 관점에서 분석해 봄으로써 반일감정을 확대 재생산하는 구조에 대해 설명하고, 시간성이라는 관점에서 ‘과거의 과잉’ 현상을 보이는 한국의 국가정체성 문제를 조망한다. 국가의 시간적 정체성을 설명하기 위해 프랑스 아날학파(Annales School)의 페르낭 브로델(1977)이 제시한 ‘장기지속(longue durée)’을 포함한 다양한 이론들을 제시함으로써 과거, 현재, 미래의 조화의 필요성을 논의한다.
