- Abstract
- 본 연구는 유럽 선진민주주의 국가들이 경험했던 경제적 불평등에 대한 복지국가의 대응과 노력을 역사적으로 분석한다. 우선 에스핑-앤더슨의 복지국가 레짐의 유형화를 통해 복지레짐의 특징과 함께 자본주의 시장경제체제에서 필연적으로 발생하는 소득불평등과 복지국가의 관계에 대한 다양한 이론을 이해한다. 그리고 유럽 선진민주주의 국가들에서 경제적 불평등에 대한 복지국가의 대응을 복지국가의 발전과 재편 과정 속에서 역사적으로 분석한다. 이러한 분석을 통해 한국에서 급격하게 악화되고 있는 경제적 불평등에 대한 복지국가의 역할에 대한 함의를 도출한다.
