Abstract
Morphological observation and phylogenetic analysis revealed that the dominant sapstain fungus isolated during a recent survey of sapstain of Japanese red pine logs in Korea represents Leptographium pini-densiflorae, a new record for Korea. A detailed description of L. pini-densiflorae accompanies illustrations of cultural and microscopical characters.
