- Abstract
- 이 연구는 중학생들이 스포츠 스타에 대하여 인식한 이미지와 방과 후 신체활동 간의 관계에서 체육태도의 조절효과를 검증하는데 주된 목적을 두었다. 남녀 중학생 736명(여학생 331명, 남학생 405명)이 설문조사에 참여하였으며, 자료는 기술통계, 일원 다변량분석, 상관분석, 조절회귀분석을 통해 처리되었다. 다변량분석의 결과 남학생 집단이 여학생보다 스포츠 스타들에 대한 이미지와 체육에 대한 인지적, 정의적 태도가 더 높았다. 조절회귀분석의 결과 중학생들의 체육에 대한 정의적 태도가 높을 때, 스포츠 스타들에 대한 외적 이미지는 이들의 방과 후 신체활동 수준과 관련이 있었다. 결론적으로 이 결과는 체육에 대한 긍정적인 태도와 스포츠 스타들에 대한 이미지 수준이 남녀 중학생들의 신체활동을 촉진시키는데 기여한다는 사실을 시사한다.
