- Abstract
- Improvement in antenna diversity gain due to an even-odd mode feed network is experimentally estimated at 755 MHz for a closely-packed dual meander monopole system. The even-odd mode feed network reduces the mutual coupling between antenna elements from -6 to -16 dB and eliminates the correlation between the radiation patterns. The diversity gain improves from 1.2 to 2.5 dB when the even-odd mode network replaces the regular separated-feed network. (C) 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
