- Abstract
- 목적：본 연구에서는 중국인 학습자의 한국어 모음 구별 능력이 한국어 숙달도에 따라 발달하는지에 대해 행동반응과 뇌반응 조사를 통해 알아보았다. 방법：중국어와는 달리 한국어에 존재하는 두 개의 중간전설모음 /ㅔ/와 /애/에 대한 구별 능력을 한국어 숙달도 중급 학습자(11명), 고급 학습자(16명) 두 집단을 대상으로 AX 변별과제(행동반응) 실험과 ERP 뇌반응 실험을 실시하였다. 결과：두 그룹 사이에 행동반응에서는 정확도나 반응속도에 있어서 차이가 없었으나 뇌반응에서는 MMN 반응이 중급 집단과 달리 고급 집단에서만 나타났다. 결론：이는 제2언어 모음에 대한 신경학적인 민감도가 학습자의 숙달도 발달에 따라 함께 높아짐을 보여준다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 결정적 가설 시기 및 그에 기반을 둔 ASP 모델의 가설에 반대되는 결과로 성인 학습자도 충분히 제2언어 음운체계 습득이 가능함을 시사한다고 하겠다.
