- Abstract
- 이 연구는 현재 주류를 이루고 있는 대학 글쓰기 교육 모형으로부터 나아가 다양화를 모색한 국내외의 대학 글쓰기 교육 모형들 및 주요 시행 사례를 탐색하여, 그 이점과 한계를 확인했다. 그럼으로써 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 사용할 수 있는 대안적 교육 모형의 지형도를 구축하고자 했다. 대학 글쓰기 교육이 본격화된 2000년대 초반부터 현재까지, 대학 글쓰기 교육 현장에서는 ①대학 신입생 대상의 ②공통 교육 과정을 통한 ③과정 중심 글쓰기 교육 모형이 주류적으로 사용되어 왔다. 이 연구는 먼저, 주류적 대학 글쓰기 교육 모형이 갖는 한계에 대한 비판적 논의를 환기했다. 이후, 주류적 모형을 대체할 대안으로 제시된 국내외의 다양한 대학 글쓰기 교육 모형들을 ⑴교육 대상의 다양화 유형(WAC 교육, 고학년 대상 심화 교육), ⑵교육 형식의 다양화 유형(계열별 글쓰기 교육, 교과 및 강좌 선택 교육), ⑶교육 내용의 다양화 유형(WAW 교육, 주제 다양화 교육, 의사소통 혼합 교육, 과제 연계 교육)으로 구분하여, 각 유형의 정의․하위 유형․시행 현황․이점과 한계를 검토했다. 마지막으로, 각 교육 모형이 독립적으로 시행될 수도 있으나 상호 결합 및 연계되어 사용될 수 있는 가능성을 확인하고, 대학 글쓰기 교육 모형의 다양화가 이루어지기 위해 필요한 전제 조건을 대학 당국 및 담당 교원의 측면에서 점검했다.
