- Abstract
- 본 연구는 수도권 소재 A대학에서 중국인 유학생들이 학사경고를 받은 이유와 학사경고를 어떻게 대처하는지 파악하는 것을 목적으로 하며 이를 기반으로 학교 차원에서 이들의 적응을 돕기위해 제공할 수 있는 대응방안이 무엇일지 제안하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 중국인 유학생의 학업적응과 관련한 문헌분석과 함께 학사경고 경험이 있는 중국인 유학생 8명을 면담하였으며 기노시타의 수정 근거이론 접근법을 활용하여 자료분석이 이루어졌다. 연구를 통해 파악된 학사경고를 받은 이유로는 한국어 실력 부족, 전공에 대한 낮은 흥미 등의 개인적 요인과 영어강의에 대한 안내 부족과 학사경고, 제적 및 재입학 관련 안내 부족, 학업 지원 프로그램에 대한 홍보 부족 등의 조직적 요인과 중국과 다른 수업환경 등의 환경적 요인이 파악되었다. 대응양상으로는 꾸준한 노력과 전략적인 수강 신청 방법 등의 개인적 차원의 방법과 사회적인 자원의 이용, 그리고 학업 지원 프로그램 및 심리상담 서비스 이용과 지도교수와의 면담 등의 조직적 차원의 지원을 통해 학사경고를 극복하였다.
