- Abstract
- This study aims to survey the understanding and acceptance of the general populations on <Korean Orthography>. For this, we selected 23 clauses of all clauses of <Korean Orthography> that have been debated between Korean linguists since <Korean Orthography> was made in 1988.
The results of the survey on understanding and acceptance are shown following (1), (2), (3), (4).
(1) The Top 5 Subsections on the Response rate of 'do' of the Understanding.
1. subsection (2) -74.9% 2, subsection (11) - 71.2% 3. subsection (1) - 66.9% 4. subsection (9) - 66.4% 5. subsection (15-1-2) - 65.6%
(2) The Top 5 Subsections on the Response rate of 'do not' of the Understanding.
1. subsection (47) - 20.3% 2. subsection (40-2) - 19.3% 3. subsection (50) - 19.0% 4. subsection (39) - 18.6% 5. subsection (30-2-1) - 18.2%
(3) The Top 5 Subsections on the Response rate of 'do' of the Acceptance.
1. subsection (15-1-2) - 69.2% 2. subsection (9) - 69.1% 2. subsection (11) - 69.1% 4. subsection (2) - 68.8% 5. subsection (5) - 64.8%
(4) The Top 5 Subsections on the Response rate of 'do not' of the Acceptance.
1. subsection (43) - 25.0% 2. subsection (50) - 23.9% 3. subsection (40-2) - 22.6% 4. subsection (47) - 22.4% 5. subsection (30-2-1) - 20.8%
